Night at the Mall
Short, stylised film about a controversial space. In a primarily observant style, the film shows the highs and lows of the Hoog Catharijne shopping mall and the adjacent station area in Utrecht. A concrete jungle consisting of abandoned corners, tunnels and arches which seems to have a life of its own under the piercing neon lights. The space gradually reveals itself as a dynamic, but damaged organism, with corridors full of junkies, cleaners, commuters and shoppers.
