Joost van Veen
Joost van Veen (1969) studied audiovisual arts at the Academy for Visual Arts in Tilburg. Since 1995, he works as a filmmaker, performer, teacher, sound designer and producer of celluloid based projects. He co-founded the WORM Filmwerkplaats in Rotterdam, a production and presentation foundation for experimental filmmakers, and is a celluloid expert. In his work he often explores the ‘non-reality’. Van Veen’s short films and live cinema projects are screened worldwide. His short film Interlude was awarded with the Tiger Cub Award at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2005.
